Woodend Beach, Adult Blue Penguin
There are great beaches close to Christchurch. Taylor’s Mistake, Sumner, New Brighton, Pines, Woodend Beach, just to name a few.
They are close enough to get there by bike, a bit too rough for swimming but nice walks!
Some are further away, Birdlings Flat, Rakaia Beach, etc.
A lot of fishing going on pretty much everywhere.
